9/26/2018

The National Electric Safety Board has examined USB chargers that have been purchased through so called private import, in this case through the website Wish. All of the chargers that were examined turned out to have faults that literally make them dangerous to use.

10 different charges have been examined and they all turned out to have very serious faults that literally make them dangerous to use. Several of them are also made from a material that can contribute to fire spreading.

The National Electric Safety Board is now issuing a warning to all consumers regarding the risks involved in purchasing through e-commerce sites where the seller is unknown.
