Ryanair cancels hundreds of flights

Last Saturday, the airline Ryanair announced that around 40-50 flights a day will be cancelled in the next six weeks. The cancelled flights will afflict around 285 000 passengers.

Afflicted passengers who have bookings up until 20 September, should have been informed by the airline via e-mail, says BBCThe airline recommends passengers to check the e-mail address they used when they booked the flight.

Your rights in the event of flight cancellation

When your flight is cancelled you have the right to a refund or a rebooking of the flight. You may also have the right to service at the airport and compensation up to 600 euro, depending on when you were informed about the cancelled flight.
