Cancelled flights to and from Brussels

Due to the explosions in Brussels, the airport Zaventem has been shut and evacuated. All flights to and from the airport have been cancelled.

If your flight has been cancelled, you should contact your travel agent or your airline. They are obligated to help you with everything from re-scheduling you to another flight, to help you get food and accommodation. It is important that you save your receipts.

You can find more information in our article on cancelled flights and in Hallå Konsument's travel guide (Swedish).

I have booked a flight to Brussels and I want to cancel it - what do I do?

Contact your travel agent. In this case, you might not get your money back, but if you have a cancellation insurance from your travel agent, your bank or your insurance company, that might cover the cancellation costs.

If the Swedish Ministry for Foreign affairs issues advice against travelling to a certain destination and the travel agent cancels the trip, you are entitled to a refund.
