Pilots of TAP Portugal on strike for 10 days


The airline company TAP Portugal has stated that their pilots will go on a strike from May 1 until May 10. Accordingly, flights will be cancelled, and passengers are advised to double check their bookings. 

It is the Portuguese pilots union, SPAC, that has declared that their pilots will go on a 10 day long strike starting May 1 2015.

As a consequence, TAP Portugal – which is the biggest airline company in Portugal – are forced to cancel a number of flights during the mentioned time period. However, a few flights have been marked as secure and they will depart as scheduled despite the strike

TAP Portugal has stated that they will reschedule affected passengers as best they can. Anyone who plans to travel with the airline are advised to make contact with their booking agent, to double check what applies to their own flight.
