Consumer ombudsman files lawsuit against Norwegian

The Swedish consumer ombudsman believes that the airline Norwegian has serious deficiencies in their information towards their air passengers, and has therefore filed a lawsuit against the company.

Air passengers have the right to receive correct information about their rights in their own language, when flights are delayed or cancelled.

The Swedish Consumer Agency pointed this out the airline Norwegian for the first time in 2013, which led to that Norwegian undertook to inform on passenger rights.

But the problems remain, and the Swedish consumer ombudsman has now requested that the Stockholm District Court judges Norwegian to pay half a million dollars in fines.
