Lufthansa prepares for strike – yet again


The pilots union Vereinigung Cockpit in Germany has announced that they will go on a strike for 21 hours on December 4. This time Lufthansas intercontinental flights will be affected.

Last time the pilots of the airline company Lufthansa went on a strike was on December 1–2, and tomorrow it is time again. During the upcoming strike period, that starts on December 4th at 03.00 and ends at 23.59 the same day, disruptions of Lufthansa long-haul flights are expected.

Lufthansa is working on a special timetable for the strike period, which will be published on their web page as soon as possible. All Lufthansa short- and medium-haul flights, as well as flights operated by the affiliated airlines Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Germanwings, SWISS and Air Dolomiti, will not be affected.
