No reimbursement from Malev's bankruptcy


Consumers who have filed demands in the Malev bankruptcy proceedings will not receive reimbursement. 

The Hungarian office of the ECC-Net informs that the bankruptcy proceedings do not contain enough money to cover the company’s financial debts of category A. All passenger and consumer demands have been classified to category D and will therefore not receive any reimbursement.

If you need a written confirmation of this, you can order a confirmation from the Hungarian liquidator for a fee of 2000 Hungarian Forint (ca. 60 SEK).
