If your flight is delayed or cancelled, or you are denied boarding, you have certain rights according to EC Regulation 261/2004. 

If you owe more money because of a delayed or cancelled flight that is not covered in the above-mentioned regulation, you can receive compensation according to the Montreal convention.

If your luggage is delayed, lost, or damaged you have under some conditions the right to compensation according to the Montreal convention.
