Strike among French control officers

A strike started, last night, among the French control officers, and it may cause disruptions in air traffic. On Wednesday at 06.00 am, the strike is expected to be called off.

The French Aviation authority, wants the European airlines to reduce their traffic by approximately 20 percent, to reduce the workload on the control officers still in duty. The conflict affects the airports in Paris-CDG, Paris-Orly, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Nice, Marseille, Nantes och Lyon.

According to Air France, the flights to Stockholm and Gothenburg will depart as planned. Air France is also planning to go through with all their long distance flights to, and from Paris.
