Safer Internet Day on the 9th of February
The Swedish Media Council's research shows that many parents are worried that their children will be exposed to bullying, hatred or worse on the Internet. At the same time, many children experience that their parents do not speak to them about their daily life online.
The Swedish Media Council believes that the reason for the lack of communication, is that there is a lack of knowledge about these things.
Join the initiative to help spread the knowledge to parents. Go to The Swedish Media Council's website. There you will find material such as leaflets posters and a video aimed at parents.
You can also visit the site: nohate.se. There you will find 5 concrete pieces of advice for you as a parent.
