Europeans believe that the EU should take more decisions
The EU public opinion institute, Europabarometer, has consulted nearly 28 000 EU citizens on what they think about decision making on political guidelines.
Just over half, 51 percent, want the EU to decide more. 38 percent do not want it, and 11 percent are undecided. Sweden belongs to those who do not want more decisions taken at EU level. Two of the three are against more EU decisions.
However, many endorses a common foreign policy, defence and security policy, refugee policy and energy policy.
