6/9/2016

A new court case from the EU court gives employers, who have bought flight tickets to their employees, right to compensation, if the employee's flight is delayed. Before, only air passengers who travelled privately, got compensated.

Thanks to the new court case, the airlines' responsibility is extended to applying on the contractor also, in this case the employer who has bought flight tickets to his or her employees.

The employer got compensated for the additional costs the flight delay had caused, for example daily allowances and social fees.
