Norwegian cancels flights from Finland

4/14/2015

The airline Norwegian has cancelled several of its flights from Finland today and tomorrow. A comprehensive strike amongst Finnish ground staff is the reason behind it.

According to Finland's aviation authority, Finavia, the strike amongst the ground staff at Helsinki and Oulo airports will last between 06:00 AM and 06:00 PM on April 14 and April 15 respectively.

Norwegian has reported that nine of its departures from Helsinki are cancelled, and that another four flights will be delayed. All morning flights except one from Oulo are also cancelled. More information on the matter is available from Norwegians web page.
