Lufthansa strike affects air services in Sweden

For the eight time in a short space of time, the German airline company Lufthansa has gone on strike. The strike started on Monday the 20th of October.

It is the German pilot union Vereinigung Cockpit (VC) that has initiated the strike, due to an ongoing conflict concerning the pension conditions for the pilots. The strike is set to last from Monday the 20th of October at 13, until midnight Tuesday the 21st.

A total of 1 450 flights have been cancelled, whereof ten to and from Gothenburg and 28 to and from Stockholm. For more information about which flights are affected, please visit Lufthansas webpage
